Since 2010, Movilfest, an international non-profit, has scouted and showcased talent worldwide through the mobile lens. Its mission is to create a more just, fun, healthy, and equal world through creativity, digital education, and the democratization of talent.

1. Fiction

In Loverthcam, Altor Marín, as swirling throngs pass a Times Square security camera, a young woman’s sign-and-poster exchange with her boyfriend in Spain unfolds through his voiceover. It’s the EME Best Film winner.

2. Documentary

In his award-winning spot, Juan Alfredo Amil (Arona, 1981)—a director and screenwriter trained in Film Directing at Madrid’s TAI School of Arts and Performance—harnesses the immediacy of mobile cinematography to deliver a powerful, story-driven advertisement. It’s the Best Commercial Spot winner at Movilfest Budapest.

3. Experimental

Exploring the raw language of movement, rhythm, and visual abstraction, the Experimental category at Movilfest celebrates works that defy convention. Created entirely with mobile devices, these pieces push boundaries—blending art, code, and emotion into a format that’s as unpredictable as it is intimate. It’s where storytelling meets sensation, and every glitch becomes a creative decision.
